REV. BILL DAGES - Senior Pastor Bill Dages was raised in Haverstown, PA, and attended Messiah College in Pennsylvania. He met his wife, Stacye, when they both worked as counselors at a Young Life Retreat in Windy Gap, NC. They were married in 1985.

Bill graduated from Greenville Seminary in Greenville, SC, in 1996. He joined Story Memorial in 1996 as Assistant Pastor and was installed as Associate Pastor in 1999. He now serves as Senior Pastor.

Bill and Stacye have three children - Michael, who is a student at Western Carolina University; Bethany, a student at McDowell High School; and Joanna, a student at West McDowell Junior High School.

       
       
   
  JASON TIPPETTS - Youth Pastor Jason Tippetts graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. degree in Outdoor Recreation in 1998. Working at a camp in Colorado, Jason met Kara and they married in May of 1998. They lived in Colorado for four years before moving to North Carolina in 2002. Jason and Kara have three children: Ella - 5, Harper - 2, and a son, Lake, born in November of 2006. Jason has been at Story for three years and is a part-time student at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.
   
       

MARSHA LEWIS - Church Secretary Marsha Lewis grew up in a small town in Michigan. After graduating from Lapeer High School, she went to Central Michigan University for one year majoring in accounting. After living in Pennsylvania for a while and then moving to Florida, she met and married her husband, Tom. They have five children and eleven grandchildren.

They migrated to North Carolina in 1979, believing this is where the Lord led them. They have been members of Story Memorial Presbyterian Church since 1986, and she has been the church secretary since January, 1997.
