We praise God that the Thursday's session was powerful and guided us right to the importance of missionaries and the Great Commission. It started with great food and fellowship as our visiting missionaries got to renew old friendships and start new ones.
Missionary Elizabeth Evans brought the sounds of Africa to the Children's Missions Conference as the kids learned songs in an African language. She shared with the children how life is different in Africa and the importance of missionaries going to far-away lands to spread the Gospel.
At the Missions Conference Lori Sealy sent our hearts right to Jesus with her powerful and inspiring songs. Special thanks to Becky Edmondson whose voice joined with Lori's to lift us up.
Serbian missionary John Lehn shared not only information about his work but also his heart as he seeks to have God take away his pride and replace it with the humility that our Lord wants all His people to have.
Keynote speaker Bill Carr challenged us with: "Salvation is free, but it will cost you your life." Also he asked: "Are you willing to pay the cost the Great Commission asks of you?" Bill took the lesson Jesus taught the rich, young ruler in Matthew 19 and showed how it applies to us.
